Nowadays, women are delaying motherhood until their 30s and 40s.

Instead of craving those two blue lines, we focus instead on our goals, careers, travel, and wait not only for the perfect person but also for the ideal blend of financial and emotional stability.

Indeed, a stark contrast from our parent’s era, wouldn’t you say?

Studies have determined that—though it can be more difficult, biologically— “when women are able to get pregnant and have children later in life, there are significant benefits to both moms and their children.”

And Michelle has plenty to say about all that.

After all, by society’s standards, she’s the “old mom.”

In this episode, Michelle Mansfield talks openly about why she doesn’t regret waiting until her late thirties to have a child, how a gay man at a pool party in Mexico changed her motherhood trajectory, and the importance of living by your own rules.
